Don't Constantly remind them of past mistakes
Apart from the fact that adolescence is a time of trial and error when mistakes are expected, constanly reminding a teen of past goofs( especially if you do so with apparent relish) makes it less likely that they'll tell you next time they stuff up.  And thier lasting memory will be of parental monologues laced with constant back bitting.

Reconnect is conducting a support group for young mums aged 15 to 21 years.
This program is an introduction to parenting and respectful relationships.
Topics covered include:
  • Basic Child development
  • Child health and Safety
  • Toys Games and Activities
  • The effects of abuse and Domestic violence on Children
  • Dealing with stress and emergencies

The program is an early intervention and prevention to child abuse and creates an awareness of the needs of children.
